Some Kind of Physics, 2022

Presented at Bett Gallery, Hobart, Some Kind of Physics is a collection of found and salvaged objects. Like a confused archaeologist, I take their familiar forms and distort them to reflect the social landscape they’re slipping from. The resulting assemblages play with the everyday, contemporary Tasmanian life, art, and what it is to be an emerging artist making work in a world awash with material artifacts.
